Lisa Preece has over 23 years of dance experience in over 12 styles of dance. She is a former Utah State Aggiette, who currently and for the past 5 years, coaches the National, State, and Region Champion Logan High School Hi-Lo Drill Team. For the past 9 years she has worked for the Universal Dance Association (largest instructional dance company in the U.S.), and has taught camps and conventions in over 20 states. She is a nationally acclaimed judge who has judged UDA Nationals featured on ESPN in Orlando, Florida, USA Nationals in California, West Coast Championships, over 10 state Championships and numerous national and local invitationals. She is currently the Secretary for the Utah Dance and Drill Association, and was voted the Drill Team 2007 Coach of the Year. Lisa has choreographed for the London New Years Day Parade, Houston Thanksgiving Day Parade, UDA, College and High School National Champion Teams, Studios, and Musical Theaters. She is now very excited to fulfill her dream of opening a successful studio in beautiful Cache Valley!
Ashley Smith
Ashley Smith began dancing at the age of 3. She is trained in many styles of dance including jazz, ballet, hiphop, pom, cheer, lyrical, drill and modern. She has taught and choreographed for numerous dance studios, drill teams and cheerleading squads around the state. She was her high schools dance sterling scholar, she was an undefeated soloist, and is currently a Utah State Drill Association certified judge. She has trained with numerous world famous choregraphers, and continues to attend workshops and conventions. Ashley is also a choreographer and head instructor for Universal Dance Association, and has had the oppurtunity to serve on their committee board. She has worked ESPN events such as high school, college and world nationals. Ashley is very excited to be a part of the Dance Illusion staff, and share her passion for dance with her students.
